Ableweb Radio

Based at the Explore Media Centre in York, Ableweb Radio is a small group of adults with moderate learning difficulties and disabilities who are learning to record and create their own radio shows.

AAM's first radio group started in 1992 as Cube Media Radio. Now in partnership with Khaoz media and the Explore Media Centre we are delighted to welcome back a radio group to our weekly sessions.

The group are aiming to create a radio show that will be targeted at the disabled community of York. The show will include music, interviews, news, events and much more. Keep an eye on our Blog for details on our frist show!

Currently, The group meets each Monday morning during term time at the Garden Room of the York Explore Library from 10am - 12pm and costs £3 each week. From September 2011 the group will be meeting at Burton Stone Community Centre.

If you would like more information about Ableweb Radio or if you have some ideas for the group to cover then please contact us for more information.
