Art & Music Activity Sessions
These activities were set up in 2008 to provide creative activities for local adults with learning difficulties and disabilities, ranging from those with moderate learning difficulties to high support needs who previously attended day services.
Art sessions
The art group works on a number of different themes, using a wide range of materials and techniques to create their own artworks and they also regularly exhibit their work. The group meets at the:
Burton Stone Community Centre each Wednesday from 1.15pm – 2.45pm.
Music sessions
The group meets up once a week to take part in a range of activities including rhythm games, singing and signing and using music technology. The group meets at the:
